Museum of the Marinery of Cesenatico

Museum of the Marinery of Cesenatico

Il Maritime Museum di Cesenatico is to be seen at least once in a lifetime. The Museum is obviously located in the beautiful Romagna town of Cesenatico and, basically, all those who go to Cesenatico can see it for free, at least part of it.

In fact, the Maritime Museum is divided into two parts, one indoors, inside the Museum located in Via Carlo Armellini 18, and one outdoors, the one on the canal port. All the boats which are located on the canal port of Cesenatico are in fact part of the second section of the Museum.

Without a guide it is actually difficult to understand the history of boats, what the colors of the sails mean and much more, that's why even if you can see this section outdoors, always "available" I I recommend a tour with the guide or at least to get the necessary information inside the Museum.

The full ticket is € 2 (also includes admission to the Municipal Antiquarium and the Transport Trabaccolo), children under 6, schools in the Cesenatico area, journalists, armed forces, museum directors and collaborators, ICOM members, tourist guides and interpreters, disabled people, people in possession of a “Friends of the Museum” card, teachers and accompanying persons of schools or groups, enter for free.
