    Il Palazzo Ducale in Genoa hosts since November 6, 2013 to April 27, 2014 an exhibition that celebrates one of the greatest precursors of Expressionism on the 150th anniversary of his birth: Edvard Munch.

    The exhibition, produced and organized by Arthemisia Group and 24 Ore Cultura - Gruppo 24 Ore and curated by the director of the Pinacotheque de Paris Marc Restellini, presents a selection of over 150 works by the Norwegian artist.

    The retrospective is made up of varied works (oils, tempera, pastels, lithographs, woodcuts), executed by Munch between 1880 and 1944, which tell of his artistic and existential path and testify the transition from an impressionistic naturalism to a painting new and bold that rocked XNUMXth century art.
