Meze, where to eat local in Istanbul

If you are in Middle-earth and precisely a Istanbul you can't miss the Meze walking distance from Pera Palace Hotel in Asmalı Mescit mah. Beyoğlu, find this delightful place. The name of this restaurant is no coincidence, in Turkish Meze means appetizer.

I went to this place several times, always finding myself well. The restaurant offers several Meze's fish and vegetables. The food is great and the dishes are explained to you in English by the owner and finding a Turk who speaks English in Istanbul is quite unlikely. The place being very small requires reservation, also by email.

I recommend the tasting menu fixed for 2 people which costs 140 LT more or less 60 euros and which includes: five appetizers to share (cold), an appetizer to share (hot), two dishes each that you can choose from the menu and the dessert always to share (excellent bananas with honey, almonds and pistachios).

If you like the wine here the cellar deserves but the prices are already soaring. Surely the prices are higher than the other restaurants you will find around but the quality of the food, the portions (quite abundant) and the care of the dishes it is definitely above average.
