A holiday in Croatia currently it is one of the most important things low cost that can be done. In times of crisis like this, Croatia can be a very valid solution for a holiday of sea and culture, history and even relaxation. Yes, because in Croatia there are beautiful beaches and the sea is no exception, certainly better than many coasts here in Italy.
If you go to Croatia and have a long enough time, don't forget to stop in Zara. If you are staying in Zadar, don't forget to visit theMarine organ, better known as Sea organ.
The Sea Organ is the work of the architect Nikola BaÅ”iÄ, a modern installation that has now become a symbol of the city. Reading or seeing a video of it on youtube is not the same as seeing it live or ālisteningā, yes because this work must be listened to and only in this way can its true meaning be perceived. This work seems very simple and indeed it is since it looks like a simple staircase that starts from the ground where pedestrians walk and reaches under the sea. The waves of the sea, breaking and flowing through the reeds installed underwater, inside the steps, produce an incredible sound, the so-called music of the sea that spreads over a large space.
Built in 2005, it is the first marine organ in history, that's why you shouldn't miss it on a holiday in Croatia!
Unfortunately a photo that I have, the one above, is not beautiful. When I went to Croatia and listened to this wonderful music produced by the waves of the sea, I was so amazed that I forgot to take pictures or to do anything else. But the rest comes naturally, which is why in this area you will always find so many people intent on observe the sunset lulled by the sweet notes, it is appropriate to say, of the music of the sea.
