Magna Grecia in Rimini, Greek restaurant

La Greek cuisine there are those who love it ... and those who do not. Obviously, like many other foreign cuisines in Italy, it is revised a little also to meet Italian tastes a little more. It must be said, however, that Greek cuisine is not quite like the Chinese one for example, which is turned upside down and turned upside down, it is much more similar to what you eat in Greece, at least for what I tried :)

Il Magna Grecia restaurant in Rimini it is located in the historic center, next to Piazza Ferrara, to be precise in via Tonini, where, among other things, the City Museum is located. You will certainly find it easily, the sign and the whole place, a windows, I am in white and blue, the classic Greek colors and the interior is quite inviting.

I highly recommend book because although the place is not very small, especially in winter, it is always full. Furthermore the smoking friends they will be happy to know that there is also a smoking room where you can eat and smoke at the same time. The room is not small, but it is almost as large as the non-smoking room.

What do you eat in a Greek restaurant? THE typical traditional dishes. In order not to be mistaken, if you are not really an expert I recommend a nice one Pita Gyros with pork, Greek yogurt sauce, the so-called tzatziki, fresh tomato, onions and potatoes, or for a general idea you can take the dish you see above in the photo, the Pikilia mikri, a mixed plate of tastings with meat, vegetables, cheeses and sauces, a real bomb, you will not get up hungry.

Finally, I recommend a classic yogurt with honey and nuts or a more elaborate one Kataifi, a nest of filiform puff pastry with honey, almonds, walnuts and aromas, a real bomb. I don't recommend Greek white wine, unfortunately I don't like it, but if you want to try it, try it! Ah, the Magna Grecia Restaurant has been open in Rimini since 2000 and has also activated a home delivery service ;)
