In Piazza Manzoni a skating rink is set up where admission is free from morning until evening and for those who do not have a shoes, you can of course rent them on site for just 5 francs. All around the track, gourmet chalets with sweets, mulled wine, pretzels and much more. And for gourmets, a very special chalet with the most renowned chefs in the Canton. Piazza Manzoni also becomes a small one workshop for children who will be able to create a very special Christmas present with their own hands: candles with colors and shapes chosen to their liking.
The markets then continue in Piazza della Riforma as the advent market, where the square is invaded by wooden houses offering Christmas specialties, decorations and original gift ideas. Furthermore, in this square there will be the concerts of the “Piccoli Cantori di Pura”, a children's choir founded in 1992 and made up of 29 girls from all over the Malcantone and Lugano area.

Il Market in the center of Lugano which is located in the pedestrian area of ​​the city, opens a little later than the Advent Market, usually opens on December 13, to close this too the day before Christmas, on Christmas Eve. The market in the city center is open every day usually from 11 to 19 and also this last day, the day of Christmas Eve, closes a couple of hours earlier.
