Le Nid: a glass of Muscadet in Nantes

You know the wine Muscedet? It is a fresh and aromatic French whitePerfect as appetizer or to accompany a nice plate of cheese or seafood. A typical wine of Loire region really pleasant and easy to drink, really perfect for everyone, not just wine lovers!

During my recent press trip to Nantes I had the opportunity to sip an excellent Muscadet in a place that is nothing short of special, complete with a breathtaking view of the city: I highly recommend it, I'm sure you will like it.

This is the bar and restaurant "The nest”- literally, the nest - which is located on the top floor of the Tour Bretagne, a panoramic building that stands right in the heart of Nantes, a stone's throw from the Graslin district and the passage Pommeraye. The tower is not a historical building: it is a modern building, in the style of the 70s, used as offices. Seen from the outside it may not attract attention but I assure you that once you enter it will amaze you: take the lift and confidently go up to the top floor, where an extraordinary surprise awaits you, the Nest!

The restaurant has just been reopened: completely refurbished to look like ... a nest! There's a'huge stork and the seats (very comfortable) are shaped eggs. To crown it all there is a splendid one 360 degree view of the city, panoramic, romantic and breathtaking: we are a 144 meters high!

I recommend you to get on the Breatagne Tour at sunset, to enjoy all shades of the light reflected on the Loire and on the rooftops of Nantes: order your frozen Muscadet here, e enjoy the experience. Prices are reasonable and displayed, so you won't have any nasty surprises when you check.
