Lara, study holiday in Malta

I study trips they are a great opportunity to improve your language and live a unique experience. Today Lara tells us about her experience during a study trip with English courses in Malta, when she did it and how it seemed to her, here is her story.

Ad August 2007, running out of ideas for summer holidays, together with a friend we decided to attend a study holiday by two weeks. After various searches on the net, the ESL seemed to me the most serious and professional (as well as being among the few to have responded to my requests for a quote).

So we left direction Malta, precisely to EC school of St. Julian's. The good impression I had of ESL was fully confirmed by the welcome at the airport to the student apartment where I stayed, from school to lessons until extracurricular activities.

Beyond the study (challenging lessons and very patient and prepared professors), throughout the experience I always felt safe. There was always someone on hand to help you figure out how move around the city, what to do or how to solve small everyday problems that, in a country where a language other than yours is spoken, can become big problems.

What i loved more of this experience was the welcome dinner organized in a typical local in Malta with the aim of allowing us to get to know each other among students and the guided tour to St. Julian's to show us the points of reference (pharmacy, grocery stores, bus station, etc ...). Malta as an island I didn't like it very much: dirt on the streets and difficulty in finding beaches with transparent water. In St. Julian's for example, the beach is in the harbor bay, therefore polluted. For those who love summer, the sea and holidays However, Malta remains my recommended destination for a study holiday.
