La Botana it is a not very large venue located in the center of Palma de Mallorca. The restaurant is located in the center of Palma de Mallorca, and more precisely in Carrer de Can Brondo La Botana.

The area is central, full of commercial activities: bars, clothing shops; very close to the historic city center and to many points of interest.
The local La Botana it has a slightly shabby style, not very big, but wonderfully hospitable and welcoming to those who go there to taste something good and typical.
Local I must always say full of people, but I'll explain why later.
But let's see why, among the many restaurants available, I decided to tell you this.
I have chosen to tell you La Botana because it was the place where I decided to eat several times during my stay.
Well yes, I ate at the same place several times during my stay.
But why? Isn't it better to change places when you go on vacation?
Eat well and spend little
Well, I'm honestly not of that opinion! Because?
But I would say simply for the fact that if you eat well in one place, in this case very well, it is useless to do a thousand tests in different places, better to be quick and efficient and not waste the travel time in these searches.
Better to invest the time to explore.
It should also be noted that the prices de La Botana they are contained, you eat well and of quality for little money, perhaps this is not a valid reason.
But let's move on to what interests most everyone, the how do you eat at Botana.
La Botana Majorca: menu and review
Whether you choose to eat simple tapas or more composed dishes, the result at La Botana it's identical, it's all really delicious.
The list of dishes to try is long, but I will try to tell you about the ones I tasted and liked the most.
The tapas
Obviously the tapas are mini samples of dishes at a very low price that you could maybe take as an appetizer, but if you want to have a tapas dinner, you could do it easily in this place.
A sort of aperitif if you want, but with local foods in small portions (mini appetizers, mini first courses, mini second courses), so as to allow you to enjoy more dishes, without eating too much.
Cod with Aioli sauce
Fried or grilled cod accompanied by this garlic sauce and boiled potatoes is truly something exceptional a La Botana.
Obviously expect a strong taste from the sauce, but it really deserves it.
Excellent flavors.
Serrano ham
You cannot fail to taste this typical Spanish ham, here at La Botana sliced by hand, perhaps accompanied by a slice of bread and tomato and why not, a nice glass of dyed wine.
Dates and Bacon
One tapas that I really liked was the baked bacon with dates, a goodness.
The dish is served on a wooden stem that alternates a date with a piece of bacon.
The taste is a little sweet, but the fat and firm taste of the bacon is attenuated by the sweetness of the date.
A bit heavy dish, but I recommend it to be shared.
Omelette
I know, some may wonder what is so special about an omelette with potatoes, yet if it is considered a typical dish, there must be a reason.
I don't know if among those I have identified there is the right one, but I recommend you try it.
The omelette is a little thicker, at least 2-3 fingers and is beautifully stuffed and soft, both on the palate and on the fork; cooked to the right point and not toasted, golden on the outside and white inside.
