Kelderke, eat in the Grand-Place in Brussels

Kelderke in Brussels, the low cost restaurant to eat in Brussels' Grand Place. Typical Belgian dishes with local beer, right in the heart of Brussels.

Kelderke is a restaurant in Brussels located in Grand-Place 15, yes its the main square of Brussels. Here there are usually the most touristic places but I must say that I ate very well and spent the right amount, that's why I recommend it.

Il local is a bit hidden, the sign is at eye level because then you have to go down one floor. The place is beautiful, full of stone arches and quite dark, let's say it creates atmosphere especially for a romantic dinner.

In summer, its tables can also be found in the square. Despite what you might think of a place in the Grand-Place (even when I was there I was a bit skeptical) this place it didn't seem too touristy. Rather.

I ate very well, salad, of course mussels and lots of beer local (how not to get it in Brussels). Furthermore, after choosing our dishes, it was the waiter himself who recommended the best beer for our dinner, everyone had their own because as we know in Belgium, beers are a kind of religion. I took a lindemans kriek, one cherry beer. Amazing dinner, great food, highly recommend.
