Happy spritz at the Guggenheim in Venice

Happy spritz at the Guggenheim in Venice

When we think of Venice we think of Spritz, the Bridge of Sighs, San Marco, carefree walks, the sun setting over the streets and the Venetian accent. At least that's the way it is for me. Venice is a city that can only be explored on foot and if you don't have good shoes, don't even go for a weekend in the magical city of Veneto :)

In addition to the things I have just mentioned, in Venice there is also always a lot of talk about art. Between the Biennale and exhibitions, but also galleries such as the Guggenheim, in Venice you can literally immerse yourself in art. The event I'm talking about today in this post unites some souls of Venice in a single moment and in a single place, almost impossible for this city! From 19 May until 14 July in Venice you can have an aperitif at the Guggenheim.

When we talk about a Venetian aperitif we are not talking about just any thing, but about the aperitifs based on the classic spritz. As for art, on the other hand, there are three evenings organized for theHappy Spritz at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, which is one of the most anticipated events of spring in Venice. Made in collaboration with Aperol Spritz, the event is made up of three this year, one event a month for three months. The first appointment is in May, or rather it has just been on May 19th, but you can't miss the other two, especially if you live in Venice: June 23rd and July 14th, from 19pm to 21pm.

The garden that hosts the event is the Ca 'Venier dei Leoni which awaits you with lots of music and of course the incredible Peggy Guggneheim museum, where masterpieces by Picasso, Magritte, Kandinsky, Pollock, Warhol are on display.

The entrance ticket to the museum is for 12 €, including spritz and appetizer, reduced to 5 euros with preferential access lane for owners of Young Pass. Tickets can also be purchased online directly on the website from the Wednesday before each appointment. To follow the event also on Twitter and Facebook and get an idea of what the first appointment was and what the next ones will be, you can follow # happyspritz14, #feelgoodatPGC and #aperolspritz.
