For my three day escape to this elegant Hanseatic city of Northern Germany, I chose a central solution that allowed me to admire the architecture of the square at any time of day:H + Hotel Bremen. By the way, the sun sets well after 22pm in Bremen so there are plenty of daylight hours to wander around the city!
But let's get to us, let's find out more about this Bremen accommodation.

H + Hotel Bremen: central location

Despite the dense and efficient tram network (one tram in each direction practically every 10 minutes), my desire to enjoy the historic center of Bremen made me lean towards a hotel just around the corner from Marketplace, but still positioned on a quiet street.

THEH + Hotel Bremen it is a nice 4-star hotel with a very considerable number of rooms: over 250, all well soundproofed. My accommodation was quite large, with not cramped spaces and perfect for two people traveling in backpacking mode.

Services

I appreciated truly textbook cleaning!
The amenities were also beyond expectations: apart from a complete courtesy set in the bathroom, towels at will, mini-bar, free water for the first night. The candies of the musicians, satellite TV (attention, no Italian channels). I even found a sewing kit and a shoe cleaning kit!
Speaking of shoes, in the hallway on our floor (fourth of six) there was a handy automatic shoe-shining machine.

The location of the hotel

The position of theH + Hotel Bremen it is decidedly privileged, with direct access on the splendid and characteristic Böttcherstraße, the street conceived and desired by the inventor of the HAG coffee, Ludwig Roselius.
Also in three minutes you arrive on the riverside promenade, in one minute in Marketplace and in five minutes in the beautiful and picturesque fishing district, the Schnoor.

The tram stop to reach the airport (but also many other destinations) is literally under the Hotel.
Unfortunately, breakfast is not included in the room rate but if you want, by paying an extra 19 euros per person per day, you can have a really complete breakfast (and I challenge at that price!)
At the limit just below the hotel there is the well-known Starbucks chain and numerous bars and places where you can eat something on the fly before setting off to discover Bremen.

The reception works 24 hours on 24, the staff speaks English perfectly and everyone is available to provide maps, information material and any information about Bremen. However, the tourist office is also within walking distance. In the hall there are vending machines for drinks, snacks and for all guests there is a generous tray of crunchy apples to munch in your room or wander around the city.
Personally I had a great time: paying 262 euros for three nights including tourist tax, I was able to experience Bremen and its beauties in the center.

Obviously the invaluable Wi-Fi service is included in the rate.
Overall, I found the care, services and attention to guests of a decidedly and pleasantly high level.
