Getting around Warsaw: airport, metro, train and bus connections

La city of Warsaw it is getting closer and closer thanks to the introduction of new routes by some low-cost airlines. Reaching it is very simple with direct flights in one of the two airports present, namely Modlin e Chopina. The latter is highly recommended advised for the minimum distance from the city center (10 km) and thanks to the direct connection with the metro, which can be taken in the basement of the airport.

Automatic machines, placed at the entrance and inside, allow additional convenience for latecomers. More uncomfortable it is instead the port of Modlin, given the distance of about 60 km from the center. The only drawback concerns low-cost flights, most of which land right in the latter airport. So from Modlin, to go to the center you have to use other means of transport. From the station, there are various possibilities for tourists based on the choice of the desired location. For those who use the train, the ticket offices are located on the ground floor of the station, but the only handicap is to communicate with the ladies of the ticket office, who do not understand and do not speak the English language at all. To book a ticket is much easier write time and day on a sheet of paper. The tracks are located two floors underground, and are divided ahead of time for the final destination. As categories of trains, the Express and Intercity trains are perfectly equivalent to the Italian ones. Finally the buses, very frequent, clean and cheap, guarantee an impeccable service for road transport. The lines 175 and N32 that connect the airport with the station. All transport services have improved markedly, especially thanks to the 2012 European Football Championships, which in turn encouraged the visit of this magnificent capital.
