When I was in Antwerp I found several very nice bars and pubs, not to mention the chocolate shops. But what I liked the most was this place, the De Vagant. I had found the advice on driving Lonely Planet I admit it and I was not disappointed at all. This well known bar in the center of Antwerp has the distinction of serving beyond 250 varieties of gin, together with the dishes, always made with gin. I challenge you to leave the club sober. Impossible.
I owners they are really very kind and will make you try any kind of gin you ask them. Also in this room there is a cat really very nice (allergy sufferers better stay away) who has no fear of strangers and who on the contrary is very nice and loving.
The room is located in Reyndersstraat 5, it's a lot bright, full of stained glass and wood. I found it beautiful and if you are in Antwerp and you are a bit tired of beer, you can easily come to De Vagant, I assure you that you will not regret it.
