A sunny Sunday if you are in Latium, you can take a trip to a beautiful seaside location in Nettuno. About an hour by train from Rome, paying only € 7 round trip, you can experience a day of sea and good food. The sea is not difficult to find, but I will help you for food.
In Nettuno I had lunch in a very nice place, a restaurant with a not too original name, but simply Al Centro Restaurant. This place is located in a small square in the medieval village of Nettuno. Here you can sit inside or outside the restaurant, the important thing is to book on holidays.
The menu offers both meat and fish, but being in a seaside location I took the fish, and I highly recommend it. What did I eat? A seafood appetizer, which compared to the sea fantasy, has only cold appetizers while the cave is made up of hot and cold appetizers, a first of dumplings with cherry tomatoes, cheese, courgettes and swordfish. A delight!
Finally one chocolate cake, coffee, water and white wine. The bill was not very high, about 25 € each and I must say that for a fish menu like this it is definitely worth it. Highly recommended.
